WeMind HVB is a subsidiary of WeMind Psychiatry that operates a treatment home for young boys with mental health issues. We are located on a fantastic farm in Gålö, Haninge municipality.

Our starting point is that we believe that placed youth need extraordinarily good interventions to turn a negative development. Therefore, we invest in a concept where care is designed and implemented by highly specialized professionals who work closely with the youth in their daily lives.

Working as a treatment assistant at WeMind HVB

As a treatment assistant with us, you primarily work with support in the youth's daily routines. This mainly means that you become an important person for the implementation of our response strategies, one of the most important parts of the treatment model. Practically, the work involves being available to plan and carry out leisure activities, support the implementation of school and employment, as well as assist with daily routines regarding waking/sleeping, activities, and meals. If you show interest and aptitude, you can also help with planned treatment elements in collaboration with our psychologists and/or act as a contact person with extended responsibility within network work.

We are located on a fantastic farm in Gålö, Haninge municipality. The position involves daytime work on a rolling 6-week schedule with shifts on weekdays and weekends.

About you

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, solution-focused, and has a genuine interest in people. We prefer that you are a patient person with good knowledge of practical treatment work with youth.

Requirements:

  • 2-year post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science (full-time, certificate required)

  • Driver's license B

  • Criminal record extract

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in LSS housing or other equivalent activities

  • Experience working in HVB homes or other equivalent activities

We are now looking for a trained treatment assistant who is interested in joining our workgroup. With us, you get the chance to work with highly specialized colleagues in a wonderful work environment. You will learn about and work based on our treatment methods that are niche-oriented towards TBA (Applied Behavior Analysis). We do not expect you to be an expert in TBA before you start, but that you have a willingness and curiosity to learn more about the method.

We are looking for someone who is an engaged, stable, and patient person with good knowledge of practical treatment work with youth. Preferably with experience from working in treatment homes/HVB/accommodation activities.
